One of New Orleans' greatest assets is its architectural heritage. Operated by native New Orleanians, Dutel Traditional Homes specializes in renovating the classic houses that make our city's neighborhoods so special.

Our specialty is creating beautiful one of a kind accents and furnishings from re-milled antique heart pine and old world cypress. This beautiful recycling technique restores luster to 200 year old wood, giving it a new life for another 300 years in the shape of mantels, floors, staircases and more.

We have studied the architectural traditions of our city and hope to help preserve them through historical renovations. Whenever possible we use recycled components, re-milled wood, and salvaged fixtures. At the same time, we realize that for historic homes to increase in value, they need to be outfitted for modern life.
